Domaine Georges-Lombri\u00e8re<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” css=”.vc_custom_1502892116004{padding-top: 3% !important;padding-bottom: 3% !important;}”][vc_column width=”1\/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1502100691204{padding-top: 2.5% !important;padding-right: 10% !important;padding-bottom: 2.5% !important;padding-left: 10% !important;}”][vc_column_text]In 2014, Marie and Benoit Lombri\u00e8re decided to take over 5,5 hectares of vineyards from Marie\u2019s parents, Marcel and Maryse Georges, in Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape. \u00a0From the beginning, they were joined by Alaric de Portal and together they build the foundations of the Domaine<\/em> and established the daily operations of the vineyard.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Through teamwork they have reconnected with a certain idea of a Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape wine should be, by creating, away from all fades and trends, refined wines which are deliciously infused to highlight the fruit\u2019s delicacy, the grape\u2019s truth and the terroir\u2019s strong expressiveness.<\/p>\n

Of the Domaine<\/em>\u2019s 5.5 hectares, 5 hectares are continuous, set on a hillside facing south sun-drenched by the mistral (300 days per year).[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1502100700799{padding-top: 2.5% !important;padding-right: 10% !important;padding-bottom: 2.5% !important;padding-left: 10% !important;}”][vc_column_text]Amongst the rolled pebbles and chalky clay and limestone soil typical of the Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape region, Grenache blossoms like no-where else and covers 4.5 hectares of the Domaine<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The vines are located at the \u00ab le bois de la vieille \u00bb in Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape, with some of the Grenache vines over half a century old. Vines have been cultivated there for over 7 centuries!<\/p>\n

Starting in 2017, the entire vineyard is undergoing conversion to organic farming.
